		<description>I had considered doing this myself, for one of my less-loved blogs.  I have been running across this more and more, though - and it &lt;i&gt;does&lt;/i&gt; drive me crazy!  And I, too, look at the comments (if there are any) to find the dates.  So I&#039;ve pretty much decided not to do it.

		<description>You&#039;re not alone, Cindy.  I completely agree - and move on if I can&#039;t find a date.  So it backfires.  I can&#039;t see where hiding something from the reader can ever be a good thing.  It doesn&#039;t gain my trust anyway.
